My Dad had a heart attack and unfortunately died that day. He lived in NSWand I lived in Queensland. Apart from not making it in time to see him before they switched off the life support machine it was also left to me to arrange things. Dealing with the trauma of losing my Dad and faced with organising a funeral from interstate was a logistical nightmare and very traumatising. In stepped Luke from Castle Funerals. From the first contact where I was almost heartbroken that not only had Dad died but also that he was alone, to the actual day of the service, his demeanour, service and compassion where outstanding. Recently my father passed unexpectedly, and in a time where you as a person are experiencing some of the toughest times you will ever have to experience in life - I was amazed at how difficult it was to secure a funeral service provider that genuinely cared and was not opportunistic on a family in a time of need. This was until I spoke with Luke at Ray Castle.
Saying that Luke went over and above to ensure the needs of my family and I were met would not be justice to him - he was available to us at all hours - literally, catered to every wish we had, gave us guidance when we needed but above all spoke to us like we were humans in mourning and not just another transaction as other providers had made us feel.

If you want to feel comfort in that your loved one is being treated with the utmost respect they deserve then this is who you go to.
Even tho my Mumma had passed , I still worried about things like how frail she was n how nervous she was , so my family n I wanted to some people weird requests but to us they were not weird , that was just normal for us n theFuneral Director Luke of Ray Castle Funerals obliged with every big n little request we made n never thought anything was too hard n the main thing that spoke volumes to me about this man was the genuinely loving caring person he was but also the fact it was never about money n anyone from my era will understand when I say this.
I asked him did I need to sign anything after our discussions n prices etc n he said to me
N I quote
" NO HE SAID, I DEAL IN A HANDSHAKE"
Now that is a real man.We will never be able to thank him enough for treating my Mumma - Our Queen
